Outlook opens in offline mode

Outlook opening  in offline mode?  These are the most common reasons.

Offline mode is selected in the File Menu.  Click FILE on the Menu Bar and uncheck “Work Offline” if it is checked.

If that does not fix it,  your local Exchange Cache may be corrupt.

Select Tools Email Accounts from the Menu Bar
Highlight the account and click CHANGE.
Click MORE SETTINGS then uncheck Cached Exchange Mode.
Click OK.
Close Outlook.
Launch Outlook and verify that it is in Online Mode as referenced above.
