According to an article on CNET, Facebook recently launched a new security feature that allows users to log their accounts off remotely. This is actually a great idea on Facebook’s part, it is another way to help keep your account from being compromised.
Most people think that just because they close out there browser windows that it always logs them off of what ever site they are on. This is not true, your browsers cache can keep your session credentials stored even if you shut down the computer. You should always log out of every site when you are finished, especially if you are using a public computer or even a friends computer. This way someone else cannot just continue with your session and compromise your account(s).
