One of the best things that has happened in the world today is the internet. It performs a lot of miracles in the world that even countries with secluded communities have opened their windows for everyone to see! Now everyone has that one window to see how people live in many diverse places that was never before known to the world.

Interesting to note is that Internet social networking communities, which I believe all started from friends chatting with friends; introducing one friend to another and so on, started to grow into a network of a lot of friends. Of course, net researchers were able to obtain how beautiful it would be when one community of friends of diverse culture, arts, and characteristics were able to come into a place where they regularly meet, upload pictures and allow the public to comment. So interaction becomes a never-ending scene that is now being monitored in the Internet. Some people would say, just as I do, that Internet is communication, and communication is Internet.

The number one social networking site today that is consistently growing is the Facebook. As of July this year, it registered over 500 million users worldwide. Recent studies shows that it mostly appeals to young people who are hungry to know people their age, how they live, and what they eat along with posting pictures and many other diverse unthinkable queries that pop up from their very inquisitive minds. Recently, it was reported that it registered a monthly 200,000 mostly from the young generation of Internet users and it’s consistently growing. The Qzone with over 200 million users but subject to stringest monitoring of the Chinese government; Windows Live Spaces with over 120 million registered bloggers; Orkut owned by Google company with over 100 million users and is popular in India and Brazil; MySpace with 130 million users; and a lot of other social networks are popping up and growing from every country of the world.

This is one great opportunity that everyone has and it’s still consistently growing, in fact, a lot of schools, colleges and universities, church and charity institutions, e-marketers and e-consumers, business and industries, and a lot more are now geared towards forming a community of common interest.

Just imagine the world with over 7 trillion people by 2011 and still growing being unified through the tips of their fingers, interacting and communicating with each other for so many hours everyday.

Indeed, Internet Social Networking is a unifying miracle that man has invented from one simple flash of thought—the web. This is one great business of the world that’s becoming undeniably a necessity, and it’s all there in the comfort of your homes, in restaurants, and any other venues where you can find comfort out of your boredom.

Me? I just want to enjoy it well!
